Mount Rushmore Spring Hours

Here’s everything you need to know about the Mt Rushmore Spring opening hours to ensure you have plenty of time to see everything.

Starting March 10, the grounds and parking structure are open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Information Center and the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, though from May 24 the Information Center is open till 9 p.m. and the visitor center until 10 p.m.

The Sculptor’s Studio, reopens on May 24 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. The Mount Rushmore mountain will be illuminated from sunset until 9 p.m. until March 9 and from March 10 it will be lit until 11 p.m. The evening lighting ceremony will being again on May 24 at 9 p.m with the mountain lit up at 9.30 p.m.

The Gift Shop is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, though hours get extended from May 2, while Carver’s Cafe operates from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with hours extended from March 10.
