If you have a car then you can either drive to the areas you want to see or park in Echternach and hike as much as you want before getting a taxi or bus back.

The Old Town is filled with bars and restaurants, making it a short walk for evenings out. It’s best to avoid staying near the railway station, as that area can be less safe, especially at night.
