Auberge Aal Veinen

Auberge Aal Veinen “Beim Hunn” is a charming hotel based in a house built in 1683, close to Vianden Castle. It is in one of the town’s oldest buildings, which formerly served as a locksmith’s workshop, now the hotel has been thoughtfully renovated to blend historic character with modern comforts.

The auberge offers eight newly refurbished rooms, either single, double or twin and each equipped with an ensuite bathroom and tv for a comfortable stay.

The hotel has an on-site rustic restaurant that is renowned for its specialties prepared over a charcoal grill, complemented by a selection of fine wines. Breakfast is available but is not included in the room price.

There is on-site parking available for motorbikes and it is possible to park close by if you have a car. If you are looking for a hotel with history, friendly staff and some charm, then this is a great place to choose.

Hotel Heintz

Youth Hostel Vianden

The Youth Hostel Vianden is a hostel located in the upper part of Vianden just a short walk from the entrance to Vianden Castle. The hostel is housed in a traditional building and was completely renovated in 2004 and offers 66 beds ranging from dorm rooms of 2 to 12 beds with either male only, female only or mixed rooms, with shared bathroom facilities on each floor. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a common room and complimentary Wi-Fi access.

The hostel has breakfast included in the price and if you are on a tight budget then this is a good option, if you don’t mind sharing a room. The hostel has its own restaurant serving Luxembourgish specialties.
