Cheap Hotels in Luxembourg Old Town

If you are looking to stay in the heart of the Old town, then there are not many very cheap options, for those you need to be further outside of the city center, but there are some options that are cheaper than others.

Park City Center

Located opposite a park, just a short walk from the old town, this is the cheapest accommodation located in the old town. The negative though, is that none of the private rooms in this accommodation have their own bathroom. All the rooms have a shared bathroom with other guests!!

If you are on a budget though, then this is a great option, without having to go further outside of the old town. Some of the rooms include a kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher and an oven.

This is more of a large apartment that has been split up to create rooms to rent out, but the rooms are well designed, clean and bright. There is no breakfast included in this accommodation.

Hotel Vauban

The Hotel Vauban is located in the heart of the old town in the Place Guillaume (the Guillaume square). It is opposite the town hall and palace of the Grand Dukes and is surrounded by cafes and restaurants.

This hotel is great value for money and also includes a good breakfast. You can choose from a single room, double room, twin room or family room.

This hotel is in an old building that has been refurbished, so the rooms may be a little smaller than you are used to, as it is also located in the main square, you can expect at some times of the year, music and noise until midnight, but if you are intending to stay out and explore the city then this may not be an issue for you.

This is a good option if you are on a budget, though there is no breakfast included in the price. It is possible though to get breakfast, lunch and dinner at the onsite restaurant, if you don’t want to venture into the old town to eat.
